Bed & Breakfast

Rossnaree has a choice of four individually styled double bedrooms, with either en-suite or dedicated bathrooms: The Bird Room, The Tiger Room, The William Morris Room and The River Room.

Beds vary from a four-poster in The Bird Room, designed by artist Aisling Law and hand-made by Ugandan craftsmen, to an inherited, upholstered antique bed in The William Morris Room. All rooms have been renovated and designed by Aisling, the beds dressed with fresh, linen sheets and feather pillows and each room decoratively furnished with family heirlooms.

Guests are welcome to relax in the evening in ambient light, next to a wood fire in the Drawing Room or beside an ancient stove in the Library. This smokey, book-lined room is hidden away in the back of the house and the stories of Rossnaree and the River Boyne are part of the battered fabric itself. Guests can enjoy the extensive eclectic library collection at Rossnaree, with much work on Irish history, myth and legend. At Rossnaree's monthly film club, the Library wall is transformed into an atmospheric Home Cinema. For Film Club Membership enquiries, contact Aisling Law.

Breakfast is served in the beautiful Dining Room replete with family silver, antique paintings and family heirlooms. Dinner for groups of +4 is available if booked in advance. The Dining Room is also available for private dinner parties and events.
